The scope of environmental testing services offered by contract labs are often driven by regulatory requirements imposed on businesses and municipalities by state and federal agencies. Over the past 30+ years, the types and designs of toxicity tests have shifted and evolved to reflect an ever growing understanding of the predictive capability of controlled laboratory conducted tests to real-world field applications. Aquatox Research has experienced the history of this evolution and has periodically adjusted to keep pace with current practices. Consequently, our current scope of services is a reflection of the requests we receive today from a typical NY permittee and does not fully reflect the totality of our experience base. We are currently focused on four major technical areas which include WETT, WTC and Microtox testing services augmented by our information based service, Tox Profiles.
